How
did Coach O end up being hired as the non-interim head coach of the
LSU Tigers?
In
my opinion, when most people like myself had the thought that Orgeron
had to win the Alabama game to keep his job.
Les
Miles had lost to The Crimson Tide four years straight and that was
the final straw in his firing. Sure, he played Flintstone
1950's, Bo Shembechler football.
At
times this year, after Miles got fired, Coach O did the exact thing
and played the same type of football.
I
wish to pose another question, What if Coach O playing Flintstone
football was a result of, not just the personnel, but also the
offensive coordinator?
Even
though Steve Ensminger seemed to be able to
add some wrinkles to the offense, it was not enough and did not get
even remotely close to the offense that people like Sean Payton, June
Jones, Mike Leach and others of that like have been running.
Now
we know that Coach has been hired, Dave Aranda has been retained, and
Lane Kiffin has been brought in to run the offense, we can now run
something resembling a Jetsons' offense.
